If it doesn’t scare you a little, it’s not Halloween.

Charlotte’s crawling with ghosts, goblins, and grown adults in dollar-store wigs this October.

Whether you're here to scream your face off or sip something spiked in a skeleton costume, we’ve got the goods.

Here's your zero-fluff, all-fun rundown of Halloween events worth showing up for in the Queen City:

💀 SCarowinds: Monsters, Mazes & Mayhem

📍 14523 Carowinds Blvd
📅 Select nights through Nov 2
💰 Starts at $49 (online only)

Carowinds gets freaky after dark, transforming into SCarowinds. Haunted mazes. Foggy scare zones.

Over 500 monsters who didn’t come to play. And yes, the coasters still run—so you’ll be screaming one way or another.

⚠️ Not for the kiddos under 13 unless they’re into lifelong trauma.

🎪 Cirque Du Soulless: A Haunted Circus Experience

📍 Bloom Movement Artistry, 6130 Old Pineville Rd
📅 Oct 31, 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.
💰 $13.35

Halloween meets art installation meets freak show.

Expect music, themed pop-up art, creepy characters, food, games, and door prizes.

If your birthday’s in Oct or Nov, you might even score a freebie ticket. 🔥

🧟‍♂️ Rich & Bennett's Halloween Bar Crawl

📍 220 N. Brevard St
📅 Oct 25, kicks off at 1 p.m.
💰 $10–$25 depending on when you buy

This thing is basically Charlotte’s version of Mardi Gras with monster makeup.

24 years strong. 20+ bars. Ridiculous costumes. Zero regrets (ok maybe one).

Proceeds support Carolina Breast Friends, so you’re partying for pink.

🐾 Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Party

📍 Monday Night Brewing, 2217 S. Tryon St
📅 Oct 26
💰 FREE

Put your corgi in a hotdog outfit and come vibe.

Live music, food trucks, local vendors, and a pet costume contest that’ll break the internet.

It’s like Comic-Con for dogs. Paw-sitively unmissable.

🍻 Spooky SZN Halloween Bar Crawl

📍 South End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood
📅 Oct 25, 4 p.m. – midnight
💰 $36.22

30+ bars. Live entertainment. Spooky swag. And drink specials that’ll make you text your ex.

Bonus: Your bar tab helps fund Pediatric Cancer Awareness. So yes, that shot of tequila was for a good cause. 🥃

🍬 Candy Crawl & Monster Market

📍 Urban District Market, 2315 N. Davidson St
📅 Oct 31, 5–9 p.m.
💰 FREE

All sugar, no scream. Safe trick-or-treating for the fam, with vendors, music, games, and vibes.

Candy coma guaranteed.

This is a perfect pre-dinner stop if you're heading to Optimist Hall afterward.

👻 Queen City Ghost Tours

📍 Starts at The Dunhill Hotel, 237 N. Tryon St
📅 Year-round (but extra spooky in October)
💰 $26 Adults / $16 Kids

Cemeteries. Old fire stations. Cursed apartments.

Real local haunts and twisted tales pulled from Charlotte’s history books.

One local guide said there's one building she straight-up refuses to walk into.

You’ll have to take the tour to find out which!

Final Word:

Charlotte doesn’t play when it comes to Halloween.

Whether you're raising a glass, raising little monsters, or raising the dead (maybe don’t do that last one), there’s something here for every ghoul and goblin.

🎃 Grab your costume. Text your crew. Let the spooky times roll.
